Multi-Billion Dollar Global Communications Firm Project: Description:
A
department within the client’s operation develops business and
operations support systems for the managed network services user
organization. The introduction of new commercial products and
technologies, such as Managed IP Telephony, brings constant change to
these systems. To accommodate these changes, the client identified the
need to address and improve certain architectural aspects of the
current systems infrastructure. Resolvit provided an Applications Architect and Senior Business Analyst,
who reviewed the current application architecture and recommended new
strategies to make the core systems extensible and responsive to user
change requests. Resolvit consultants participated in Requirements Gathering and Analysis sessions, Creation of High Level Designs, and Documentation of Results, which were used by the code development and testing teams.

Description:
The
client had approximately 100 internal web tool applications across the
country, supported by many small groups. The client needed a National
Support and Maintenance group to centralize support of all the tools.
The initiative required a host of skill sets to support the
applications and their environments. Resolvit
provided broad technical knowledge and seamlessly interfaced with both
non-technical users and technical developers and engineers. Resolvit
saved the client significant revenue by leveraging common resources to
support a wide variety of applications that were previously supported
